Indexing & Discovery

Global Citation is committed to making scholarly research discoverable, accessible, and interoperable through recognized abstracting, indexing, and scholarly information services.

Our journals are currently represented in multiple scholarly databases and indexing services. Coverage may vary by journal and service. Authors and readers are encouraged to consult the relevant journal page for the current indexing and discovery coverage of each title.

Databases & Indexing Services

Global Citation works with established scholarly discovery and indexing services to improve the visibility and accessibility of published research. Our indexing coverage is maintained at the individual journal level, and information about current coverage is updated as journal records are accepted, activated, or expanded by the relevant services.

Global Citation does not consider inclusion in a database to be a substitute for editorial quality. Indexing coverage is supported by consistent editorial practices, transparent policies, reliable metadata, and the continued publication of scholarly content.

Metadata & Discoverability

Each published article is prepared with structured bibliographic information and persistent identifiers to support accurate discovery, citation, and metadata exchange.

Our publishing infrastructure supports:

  • DOI and Persistent Identifiers for published articles
  • ORCID integration where provided by authors
  • Structured article and journal metadata
  • Standardized bibliographic information
  • Machine-readable metadata for scholarly discovery and harvesting
  • Search-engine discoverability
  • Stable article-level URLs and online access
  • Digital preservation and long-term accessibility practices

Editorial & Publishing Standards

Global Citation maintains editorial and publishing practices designed to support the quality, transparency, and consistency expected of scholarly journals.

Each journal maintains:

  • Clearly defined Aims and Scope
  • A qualified and appropriately constituted Editorial Board
  • A clearly stated peer-review process
  • Transparent editorial and publication policies
  • Publicly available publication ethics and malpractice policies
  • Policies addressing plagiarism, conflicts of interest, corrections, and retractions
  • Clearly stated copyright, licensing, and open access terms
  • Transparent information regarding author charges, where applicable
  • Regular publication according to the journal's stated schedule

Our journals use double-blind peer review, with manuscripts evaluated by independent reviewers with appropriate subject expertise, in accordance with each journal's published peer-review policy.

Open Access & Accessibility

Global Citation publishes its journals under an open access model, providing readers with access to published research without subscription barriers.

Each journal provides clear information regarding its open access policy, copyright arrangements, licensing terms, and author charges. Published articles are made available online through stable article pages to support accessibility, citation, and long-term discoverability.

Ongoing Quality & Indexing Coverage

Indexing and abstracting coverage is maintained on an ongoing basis. Global Citation monitors the editorial, technical, and publishing requirements associated with the services in which its journals are represented and updates journal information as coverage changes.

Inclusion in any indexing or abstracting service is determined by the respective service according to its own evaluation criteria and policies. Global Citation does not imply that inclusion in one service guarantees inclusion in another.

We are committed to maintaining the editorial quality, publication regularity, ethical standards, metadata quality, and online availability necessary to support continued discoverability and responsible scholarly communication.
